Impeachment

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

A few years back at Christmas another family member and I were talking smack on Trump.

Anyway, another family member of mine was becoming visibly perturbed. The only defense he had was that Trump tells it like it is. That's it. He tells it like it is. Only Trump fails at that too. Trump can't even tell it like it is because most of what he says is entirely made up!

"Telling it like it is" is tantamount to whichever idiot has the biggest megaphone, I guess.

There were also a lot of jokes going with it - like IMPOTUS is caused by electoral dysfunction.

His wall
His approval rating
His IQ
Nothing is going up

Doncha just know he hates it, and it's probably going to stick around for a while. Kellyanne will probably be majorly abused and taunted that she can't keep George "under control."

People should start just using "Impeached President*" every time they refer to him.

"Impeached President Trump tweeted today..."
"Impeached President Trump announced a new desecration of the environment today..."
"Impeached President Trump insulted a 4-year old today..."

We know that SCOTUS is con and will rule accordingly. Whether it's lost all integrity and patriotism is still a question.

Well, a fair trial for the impeached one.

That means allowing witness testimony and documented evidence for both the prosecution and the defense.

Or are you against fairness?
Thanks.

A fair impeachment trial for America is most important to me.

Of course, 1 FAT CAN could have learned all of that from the link that s/he strangely removed from her/his quote of me.

I swear, s/he's a crappy investigator even among SC LEOs, let alone relative to LEOs or even just lay people nationally.
Demand A Fair Impeachment Trial

To: United States Senate
From: [Your Name]

A fair impeachment trial must be:

Honest: Senators must base their decisions only on the evidence -- and cannot under any circumstances accept fundraising help from Trump or coordinate with his defense before or during the trial.

Thorough: The House must be allowed to present its full case -- calling necessary witnesses and allowing all evidence from the impeachment inquiry into the trial record.

Transparent: The American people deserve to see what’s happening, limiting transparency only to protect classified information and whistleblower anonymity.
We need to speak up NOW to stop Senate Republican leadership from rigging President Trump’s impeachment trial.

Already, Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has told reporters: "I'm not an impartial juror." Meanwhile, Trump is helping multiple Republican senators fundraise for re-election -- in a clear attempt to buy them off too.

They might not stop there. If he’s left unchecked, McConnell might even try and rush through the trial -- without calling witnesses, hearing evidence, or letting the American people hear the full case against Trump. We can’t stand for this.

Every senator must stand up for a fair impeachment trial that puts our Constitution and the rule of law front and center.

We can’t let Mitch McConnell rig this trial to get Trump off the hook. Add your name today to demand a fair trial -- and we’ll deliver your signatures to key senators >>
Duh.
