GO:

12:00

NBC
Maryland (3-0, -10.5) > @Wisconsin. Go Terps!
Already 14-0, but you know I would have picked them. I'll try to keep making honest picks for the games in progress.
We won 27-10!
:happy-cheerleaderkid:

ESPN
Syracuse (-3.5) > @Clemson
Y'all know that 1 FAT CAN sucks. Syracuse is up 24-7 :thumbup: Delayed, just restarted at about 3:45.
34-21, 3-1 vs 1-3, Dabo gone?

ESPNU
UNLV (-3.5) > @Miami (OH). 10-21, ut-oh.
UNLV came back from -14 twice, wins on a 40 yard FG with 0:15 left, 41-38 :clap:

CBSSN :x
North Texas (-14.5) > @Army. Already 28-14 :thumbup:
Karma for the Lee portrait. 45-38 :thumbup:

3:00 PM BTN :x
@6 Oregon (-33.5, ouch) > Oregon State. Go Ducks!
A win won't count in my tally. 41-7 :D

3:30 PM

ABC
22 Auburn > @11 Oklahoma (-6.5) WDE! Both are 3-0.
Could end OK's Top Ten dreams. 17-24. :thumbdown:
WDE fought hard, though.

ESPN
Tulane > @13 Ole Miss (-12.5). Yeah, right. 10-45 :puke-left: :thumbdown:

CBS/Paramount+
21 Michigan (-1.5) > @Nebraska. 30-27, phew :)

FOX
@Mickey Mouse (-6.5) > BB's North Carolina
It's a relief to not feel a duty to root for historically shaky UNC. 34-9. Does BB stand for Bye-Bye?

ESPNU
James Madison (-7.5) > @Liberty. Stompin' in RW god's house. 31-13. Praise LW Jesus.

ESPN+ :x
@Buffalo (-5.5) > Troy. 17-21 :(

4:00 PM ESPN2
@Duke (-3.5) > NC State.
Forced 4 TOs, blocked a FG, 45-33. Dook!

5:00 PM
@San José State (-14.5) > Idaho.
48 yd FG with 0:08 left, 31-28 :clap:

Also:
@Georgia Tech (-24.5) 45 > Temple Owls 24
:thumbup:

7:00 PM CBSSN
Boise State (-11.5) > @Air Force.
49-37, like a swarm of SAMs. :thumbup:

7:30 PM

ABC
@4 Miami (-7.5) > Florida. GoO ReallyGo!
UF made them sweat for a little while there, 26-7. :clap:

NBC/Peacock
9 Illinois > @19 Indiana (-6.5 :headscratch: ) GOGoCubsGoGO
Yahoo lists it as "IU -6.5". Real helpful. I chased it down elsewhere, then did a 2nd check since it's counter-intuitive. Go IL!
10-63 :wtf: No chance of returning to the Top Ten, sorry.

CBS/Paramount+
Washington (-20.5 :oops: ) > @Washington State. GoLady OGo
I prefer 2-0 UW, but I think 2-1 WSU will beat that spread and come up short. A win won't count in my tally. 59-24, I was wrong about the spread, no problem.

FOX
Arizona State > @Baylor (-2.5)
ASU walkoff 43 yd FG for the win! 31-28. Thank LW god!

ESPN2
@East Carolina > BYU (-7.5). Mormons begone. 13-34 :(

9:30 PM FS1
@Colorado State > UTSA (-4.5)
CSU TD with 0:29 left. EP ties it, 17-17. Defensive penalty, CSU takes the point off the board, 2 point try FAILS, lose 16-17 :angry-banghead:

10:15 PM ESPN
@Colorado (-11.5) > Wyoming. GoDeionGo. 37-20 :thumbup:

10:30 PM CBSSN :x
California (-14.5, "good game"?) > @San Diego State
Sorry, gotta go with my former homeys. Wow, 0-34. MASSIVE upset, beat the spread by 48.5!

11:59 PM
@Hawai'i > Fresno State (-3.5) GoJasmineGo
Hawai'i scored a TD with 0:10 left, the game tying Two-Point Conversion failed, 21-23. Grrr. Sorry.
13-10 for the week, a bit better.

FCS
5 Montana stomped Indiana State 63-20.
6 (tie) Montana State beat Mercyhurst 17-0.
8 Idaho barely lost @FBS San José State 31-28, may not be hurt by it.
The rest of the top 11 either won or had a bye week. There won't be much movement.
Lament the murder, not the murdered.

It's a good thing Billy.P didn't have to watch today. It might be hard to blame the refs when your QB gets sacked 10 times. And the whole team totally falls apart while leading by one with 5 minutes to go. But hey, it was the refs.

They were almost blameable. On the late drive that put WDE up by one the refs missed 2 critical PIs. However, they finally called one and WDE capitalized with a TD. Those sacks were some sort of record, either for OK or the NCAA.

:laughing-rolling: It was the refs!

SEC admits officials should have overturned Oklahoma's trick play TD in win over Auburn

Theoretically the 'Heels could win out and go to a real bowl and "Genious" Belichick could be acclaimed as the greatest coach ever even without Brady. Sure, and Carolina could drop its basketball program and put in varsity dodgeball, too, but nagonnahappen. It seems clear, from 2,500 miles away, that neither the talent nor preparation is there for the 'Heels this year. Could somebody else have done better with the same players? Dunno. Could the same players have done better with another coach? Dunno. Could the whole program have come together better without the constant celebrity distractions of Belichick and Hudson? Dunno. But they're 2-2 (12th ACC) through the warm-up season with conference games coming up. Doesn't look good.

I only saw the last 7 minutes or so, so I missed that TD. But Auburn really did fall apart after their late score. They pretty much let Oklahoma run and pass right over them to score and then refused to play any offense. Not saying they threw the game, but if they had wanted to throw it, what would they have done differently?

From afar I am not surprised about the situation at Carolina. I thought from the outset it was going to be a circus. It is even more strange than I could imagine. It seems the 24 year old girl friend is pulling the strings. What were the AD and president of UNC thinking when they hired him?

Looks like UNC and Miami are taking the weekend off. Might be one of the season highlights for the 'Heels.
Aztecs play somebody called "Northern Illinois" Isn't all of Illinois "north"? :lol:

Edit: attempt at humour failed. I just remembered traveling through southern Illinois and it most definitely wasn't "north", unless you count "northern Mississippi"
