I like Sanders, but it would be a bit scary for him to get the nomination. Here's why: Despite having been a Senator for a long time, he doesn't have much of a record of what he's done. That makes it easier for the other side to bash him with negatives. So far, Republicans have gone light on him because they'd rather run against him. For starters, they'd beat him over the head with "socialist" - not that it's a secret, but right-wing propagandists have a way of making "soccer mom" a perversion. I just think that while his ideas are (generally) good and his head/heart is in the right place, he has too few positives to flout and too much potential for negatives.JTA wrote:I want to see Trump vs. Sanders so bad. Hillary, on the other hand, has her share of warts and baggage, but it's all been out there for years. And she's got a lot of stuff she's done. She won't be rattled by Trump's style of abuse.
