“The only thing that will stop a bad 9-year-old with a gun is a good 9-year-old with a gun.”
Where does it say that in the article? Show me where the NRA specifies 9 year olds with a gun. Why do you hate children? "misopedist"
Show me a graph with abortion deaths vs gun deaths.
Yeah, that's relevant. While you're at it, show us automobile accident deaths, cancer deaths, miscarriages, drownings, starvations, and throw in old age for good measure. All totally related to gun deaths.
If I show you a graph, you'll just deny it, because you feel that the murder of babies is legal. You'll respond, well yeah, because the Government says so. Liberals that is.
Not sure about the exact numbers but therapeutic abortions are far outnumbered by spontaneous abortions (miscarriages) caused by polluters and their Repug enablers and those caused by poor nutrition/healthcare and their Repug enabler. These are in turn far outnumbered by spontaneous abortions caused by nature/god.
Why do you love god the abortionist?
Then, due to obscene resource consumption every US child born means the demise of far more fetuses and children due to lack of those resources. Why do YOU choose to be an abortionist and child murderer many times over by preventing US abortions?
The debate has always been about the sick and hypocritical misogyny of your team, not fetus numbers.

Numbers are the numbers, but you miss the point. People - all of them - die from a lot of reasons, as you pointed out in one of your cutpasties. Not all those deaths have any real causative relationship to others. Your real question is why isn't everybody as opposed to abortion as you. And yes "the government" does have the authority to determine what is legal and not, and a legal medical procedure is not "murder," no matter how many times you call it so. "Murder" is a legal term itself. If you want to argue that people shouldn't be able to make decisions about medical procedures to be done on them, go ahead. Anyway this thread isn't about abortion, and I don't argue about abortion anyway. I'm not going to have one and I'm not going to change anybody's mind about them.
The article is a couple of years old, it could be more or less, but let's multiply each number by a yearly basis. 86x365=31,390 to 2000x365=730,000 that's a huge difference, although neither is good.

... Across U.S. states, laws banning gun possession for people who had been convicted of a violent misdemeanor were associated with an 18.1 percent reduction in gun homicide rates, Siegel's study found, while universal background checks were linked to a 14.9 percent decline....
The Educational Fund to Stop Gun Violence has been instrumental in the passage of Extreme Risk Laws — sometimes referred to as “red flag laws.” Extreme Risk Laws allow family members and law enforcement to petition a court to temporarily remove guns from individuals demonstrating behavioral risk factors for dangerousness. Extreme Risk Laws also prevent these individuals from purchasing additional guns.
Which States have Extreme Risk Laws?
As of April 2019, fifteen states and the District of Columbia have Extreme Risk-Style Laws: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington.
...
A couple of purple states, FL & CO, IN is the only red state. Repugs love gun violence.
An armed security guard at a Colorado school may have mistakenly fired on sheriff's deputies and wounded a student amid a highly chaotic shooting rampage at the campus this week, authorities told ABC News on Thursday.
Guys with guns shooting at anybody else who looks like they might have a gun... what could possibly go wrong?

The only thing that will stop a good guy with a gun, and a good student without a gun, is another good guy with a gun.”

We didn’t need anyone with a gun in schools when I attended. We shouldn’t need anyone with a gun in schools now. We had a wood paddle in schools for discipline. Today, we have a time out.
I looked for some reference that reported studies found that assaulting kids with wooden weapons made them less likely to become violent teenagers or adults but I couldn't find it. Dang biased media.
I think they paddled her/him in the head, and it shows.
Never saw a dunce cap. My private elementary rarely used cp, and may have even quit sometime before my 6th grade. My public jr high and high never used it. Would have been unfair at BCC as badly as we beat y'all up on the soccer field.
I'm kinda disappointed that upper class STEM students couldn't come up with a more creative way to kill and injure other students, perhaps without even getting caught, than guns which they weren't that good at wielding, anyhow. What has education come to?

Too soon?
Well, the first time I was whacked with the board of education was in 6th grade, probably 1966, don't recall having any whacks in jr high but had three of four during high school, mostly for cutting classes (they never knew we were actually on school grounds smoking pot during those missed classes) and as far as I know there was never any letter or form sent to my parents asking their permission for this discipline; they just did it. Three whacks was the standard procedure. It never deterred me from doing shit I wasn't supposed to do; just made me marginally more careful. All those whackers are dead now.

If that's the worst thing that you did in High School, then you turned out pretty well. Still not sure about the other guys.
"impotent" ammosexuals are not a surprise. The idiots don't get that weaponizing and locking down the buses and outdoor sports, too, just can't be done. Anything to desperately deflect from reasonable gun control.
